It's New Year's Eve and time to head home from the beach. The oyster paintings are looking a little better but Mama still has some changes she wants to make. 

                                  

And the cabinets have had all the coats of paint that Mama is going to give them for now. And they look pretty good!

                                  

                                 

Goodbye beach! Even in the winter it looks beautiful on this cloudy, grey, warm last day of 2021 day!

                                 

                                 

   

Once we were home and settled and unpacked we got ready for our New Year's Eve celebrations!

                               

Happy New Year! Happy 2022! Let's hope this year is better than the last two!

 

This morning Mama worked on the cabinets for a really long time. Then we went for an early happy hour to the Crabcake Factory for a couple of drinks and some nibbles! 

                                 

   

                                 

It was yummy and fun!

                                

Then we went to the Candy Kitchen for a quick sweets stop! They have some yummy and fun things but they sure have some crazy things there too, like giant gummy bears, YUCK!

                                

                                 

 

The cabinets are almost done!! It's looking pretty good!

 

I got a new poster put up in my room...

                                

And then we had a game night with Throw Throw Burrito! It was so much fun and we had so many laughs!

   

 

Today Daddy put together the new TV cabinet and it looks great! So much better than the IKEA cabinet that was there before.

                                  

And we put the pretty glasses that Mama's friend Miss Amy gave us away in the bar cabinet!

                                 

Later Daddy had to run out and saw this at the deli. So I guess Daddy is an under cover DJ on the side...

   

Later Daddy took us to indoor mini golf while Mama painted the cabinets. It takes her a really long time to do all the prep work and paint. We were sad to leave her at home but she wanted us to go have some fun and we sure did!

   

                                 

Later I got to finish my White House! It looks amazing. Daddy and Mama are so impressed! And we put it on the shelf above the Capitol. They both look great together!

   

Later Daddy and Mama took us to the Winterfest of Lights walk through lights display at Northside Park in Ocean City. It was spectacular!

   

   

   

   

There were so, so many lights! It was amazing! And it went all the way around the lake. Thankfully it was also a pretty mild evening so that made it even more enjoyable to walk around outside!

   

   

   

There were so many lights and so many displays everywhere we looked. It was really cool and we're so glad we got to see it!

   

                                  

                                

   

Afterward we went to one of our fave's, the Crab Bag for some dinner. And it was warm enough to sit outside under the heaters and close to the giant fireplace!

   

   

The raw and fire grilled oysters were so delicious!

   

   

   

And we got a few crabs and they were HUGE and so meaty and yummy!

                                

   

                                 

It was so warm and cozy in our own private outdoor dining room!

                                

When we got home we played a little ball in the hall. Then we played some games 

                                

Mama is so close but there's so much more to do...a couple more coats and those cabinets will be done!

   

And some touching up to the oysters and maybe they can stay too.

   

Then we all cuddled up in bed and played some ipads and computers before it was time to go to bed. Another great day at the beach!

                                

 We got to the beach last night and went directly to Lombardi's! You can never say no to a Lombardi's pizza and this one did not disappoint!

                                

   

                                

We had the restaurant to ourselves and the service was top notch, as usual!

                                

   

Perfect start to our beach week!

 

This morning Mama started getting some things together in the house. The new shower curtain went up and we all love it. It's so cute!

                                  

Then we all headed outside to check on the beach. It was pretty mild out and since the beach replenishment the beach is MASSIVE!

                                 

                                 

                                

   

   

There will be no problem finding a spot on the beach this summer that's for sure!

When we came back in I got to work on the White House Lego set. It's looking impressive already!

   

   

Later we tried out Annabelle's BBQ shop for dinner. It was pretty tasty.

                               

                                 

                                  

Then we just went for a little drive around town to see what was open, what was what and just take in the sights. We ended up at the inlet and the ferris wheel was all lit up and looked amazing!

                                

                                 

                                

                                 

Then Mama got to work getting the new bedding on the bunk beds. It was exhausting but they're starting to look better already!

                                  

Then she put hooks on the walls for our beach towels and goggles. We're gonna be ready when summer comes along!

                                

Later we had a fun, family game night! It was so fun playing Pictionary!  Another great day at the beach!
