It was a really rainy, stormy night last night so this morning was a little cooler than it has been, but still a little muddy for a park play date. So, we went to the next best place! The Takoma Park splash pad playground. And it may have been cooler out than it has been but it was till pretty hot and muggy out in that sun! We were very thankful for that water!










Then we logged some good time on the play equipment. We ran around, we jumped off of things, we hid inside things, we went down slides and climbed up tree houses and had lots of fun with our friends Leighton and Elise. Then we met Grandma and Granddaddy at Ema's old house to pick up the organ that we're taking home. When they brought it to our house Grandma came upstairs to play with us for a little while. I love showing Grandma my games. It's a good thing she always pretends to be interested!

                 



Later our MeMa and PopPop came over to join us for a Chinese food dinner. They even brought us delicious dessert from Raulins bakery. YUM!! And we were so happy to see them. It's always a good day when you get to see more than one set of Grandparents!!



                 

And Jax fell asleep on the couch right before we had dinner. He said, "I DON"T WANT EAT NOTHING!!!!" and so he ate nothing...

                

                 

We had a nice visit with MeMa and PopPop and we can't wait to see them again this week!

                

                 

I woke up around 8:30 and guess what? I was starving and ate the majority of the "left overs". It's a good thing there was food for me because I tore it up. Maybe next time I'll get to spend more time with MeMa and PopPop. Now it's time to stay up all night bouncing off the walls...

                 

This morning Daddy took Jax and I to my friends Maddy and Liam's birthday party at the Brookside Nature Center. We got to see lots of my friends and hear about nature and animals and we even got to meet a few! Then we got to head down to the lake to check out the turtles and other wild life and then we did a little nature hike before heading back to the nature center to have some pizza and snacks for lunch.

                

                 

                

                 

                 

                 



                 

                 

                 

                

                 

While Kai and Jax were at Maddy and Liam's birthday party Mama and I did some things around the house. Then we headed to Spiknals to pick up some sweet corn. Everything looked so nice and fresh and smelled so good!

                

                  



                

I had so much fun making masks and running around and playing with all of Kai's friends. It was a great birthday party!

                 

                 

                

Then Mama and I headed to my buddy Charlie's Birthday party at Climb Zone! That place looked amazing! There were so many things to climb. And it's a good thing they also had air hockey and bounce houses and slides because I had no interest in climbing anything. I wouldn't even put on a harness. Then it was time for cake and after cake Mama said it was time to go. It was a fun party. I can't wait for Charlie to come to my party on Friday!!



                 

After we all got home we got our stuff together and headed to Thursday's to meet up with Grandma, Granddaddy, Uncle Jason, Aunt Mindy and baby Ethan. It was beautiful out on the water and Uncle Jason and Aunt Mindy even brought us bags of gummy candy and sour patch candies!
                





                













Then we got some yummy, big, fat crabs! They sure were tasty. We got french fries and wings and drinks and corn on the cob and crab soup. Everything was super yummy and we were so happy to spend some time with our family! Then the clouds started rolling in and a big storm came in. But that's okay, we were under cover and having tons of fun!

                



                 







                 

                 

                 




It looks us a while to get home because it rained and poured and thundered and lighteninged the whole way home. But, we got home safe and sound and then we got showered up and Daddy read us books before heading to bed. It was a great Saturday!
