Tonight I got to help Mama make our special Asian themed dinner! 

                                       

First I got to cut the Spam into slices for the Spam musubi

                                        

Then I got the bowl all ready for our miso soup. I added some shelled edamame because we love edamame in our miso soup!

                                      

Then Mama made a Korean street food called Tteokbokki. They are squishy, boingy rice cakes. And boy were they spicy!

                                        

                                       

Everything tasted good. We were excited to try all of these new flavors and some tried and true. Either way we tried it all!

                                        

And I of course loved my pork dumplings the best! But I did try everything so that's a good thing! And I  had fun helping!

                                       

 This morning we woke up and had chocolate croissants for breakfast! Yum Yum!

                                      

Then Mama went to meet up with some friends to put together the 6th grade gala basket. It's a BBQ/tailgating theme! It turned out great!

Then Mama came home and put together the 8th grade basket (Wines around the world)

And the 4th grade basket (Cheers and Chocolate)! They all looked so nice!

                                      

Then we all went to Nana and Papi's house to celebrate Auntie Tori's Birthday!

                                       

                                      

Her cake was fantastic! Look how pretty it looked! It tasted even better...

                                       

Chance and Lukey did not seem thrilled about it!

                                       

And we were just thrilled with trying to strangle each other...Oh Brothers!

                                      

                                       

                                      

Then Daddy got in on the action!

                                      

Then we all did some playing with our cousins and hanging out!

It was a super fun night hanging with family!

                                     

Today we drove out to the outer edges of PG county for a basketball game and we got our butts handed to us! You win some, you lose some I guess... 

And I had a great time at my game too! Me and Kenton are a good team!

Later Eli came over to have a sleep over with Finn while Jax and I went over to our friends Samuel and Tobias's house to hang out why Daddy and Mama went to the Highfill's for a catered Italian feast!

                                       

                                     

Everything sure looked delicious! Daddy and Mama said it was so, so good!

There was salad and roasted vegetables and meatballs and stuffed shells and tiramisu and cannolis! YUM!

                                      

And afterward Kai and I had a sleepover at the Smith's house. It was so much fun!

                                      

 Tonight we tried a new technique for our brined whole chicken. Mama put it on a bundt pan with potatoes underneath. We'll see how it turns out when it comes out of the oven...

                                       

While our chicken cooked we headed to Nana and Papi's house to visit with them for a little while before Papi heads to Ecuador in the morning. We're sure gonna miss him while he's on his trip!

                                     

Everyone gave Papi big hugs on our way out. We hope he has a great trip and sends us lots of good pictures while he's there!

And our chicken looked and smelled amazing when we got home!

                                      

And it tasted even better than it looked! Yum, Yum!
