Today...after Mama had to make Finn wake me and Jax up at 9:30 this morning, we all ate breakfast, got dressed and headed to Grandma and Granddaddy's house! We got to go check on the fish and Mr. Chris and Miss Barbara let us feed them. And boy were they hungry! They came jumping up to the top of the water to eat their food!

                                  

                                  

                                  

Then I made a really cool market out of blocks. Grandma really liked it!

                                 

                                   

                                  

                                   

Then it was time to head home. It was the last ride in our old Traverse!



When we got home we took some pictures with our good old car! It served us well. It brought every one of us home from the hospital when we were born. It carried all of us and Lucy too! It took us on lots of great family road trips and all around town. We had a great time with that good car. 



                                   

                                   

                                  

And now we're excited for many new adventures in our new car! It sure is nice looking and we can't wait to get it home (after they install the dvd player - priorities people!)







For dinner I helped Mama make the WHOLE thing! I chopped, I used the instant pot, I stuffed, I mixed, I marinated, I helped Mama do it all! And I had a blast doing it!

                                  

                                  

                                  

We made stuffed artichokes, marinated chicken, rice, quinoa and a tomato/cucumber/edemame salad. And it was all delicious!
                                  
                                  



                                  

Then I did some FaceTime with baby Chance. He was hangry! He needed a bottle STAT! And once he got one, he was a happy little camper!

                                  

Then Mama and Daddy decided to get us to bed a little earlier tonight. Only about a month left of Summer vacation and we need to start getting practice going to bed earlier and waking up earlier...HAHA! Good luck with that one Mama and Daddy...this was on Mama's first round of telling us to settle down at about 11pm...it's going to be a long night. We'll be up around 10am tomorrow!

                                  

                                  

                                  

This morning we woke up in our Virginia house and played some iPad games until everyone woke up. Then we ate our little apple pies from the wedding. We were hungry!

                                  



Then we went to have brunch with the wedding couple and their family and friends at the farm house.

                                  

When we got home I did some painting in our new, clean, homework and craft room.

                                  

Then we decided to take advantage of this beautiful day and head to the pool! The water was a little cold to start. Must have been all the rain we've had! But once you were in it got warmer. It was a perfect pool day! Mama came to check on us last night and I was still up reading!! Finn was passed out in my bed and Jax was finally passed out too! We better start getting to bed earlier in time for school to start...one day we will, probably on September 4th!!

                                   

                                   

In the morning I went with Daddy to help get all the water out of MeMa and PopPop's flooded basement! Papi was there too!! I was a big help with the shop vac!

                                   

Then we hit the road to Purcellville, Virginia for Aaron and Sabina's wedding! We went to check into our house for the night. It was pretty cool!

                                  

                                  

The wedding took place on an old farm it was so cool. There was a giant silo and barn and a really nice farm house. There were horses near by and lots of grape vines for the wineries. Then the kids and the bride came down the aisle. Everyone looked so nice. The blah blah blah part was BORING but thankfully it was pretty quick. No one ever told us about this part of weddings. Not fun!





Then we went to explore the abandoned fort that was beside the wedding area. It was so cool...and a little spooky! We saw a dead frog in there. Mama couldn't help taking pictures of us because it was just so beautiful out there. And we all looked so handsome!

                                  

                                  

                                  

The reception was held in an old barn. It was really cool! We had fun. We blessed the meal, we listened to more people yap and then it was time to eat. The food was so good. I said that this is what food tastes like in heaven!! Then we wished the couple well with really cool sparklers! It was fun and so pretty!

                                  

                                  

                                  

                                  

                                  

Then we got to eat the cake. It was SO GOOD! And I ate my piece all up!

                                  

                                  

                                  

Then we got to run around outside by the fire pit. It was a beautiful, cool evening. It was so much fun exploring and playing around outside with the other kids!



                                  

                                  

Then we made a stop at the silo at night. It had lights inside and it was SO COOL!!! It also had a big echo inside. It was really neat!

                                  

                                  

                                   

Then we got back to the house and I played on the phone like a teenager!

                                  

Then Finn and I played some Monopoly. It was lots of fun and a fun night in Virginia!
