Today it was back to school after our nice, long Christmas break...it was bitter sweet but it was kind of nice to get back into the swing of things...

For dinner we made an awesome soup from one of Mama's friend's new cook book!!

Bacon Cheeseburger soup!

The recipe wasn't too hard and Mama whipped it up in no time!

And boy was it delicious! We all loved it and we can't wait to try some other recipes too!

Today was a nice, mild day. So we took a nice, long walk and talk with some of our buddies!

Then we all ended up on Liam's screened in porch watching a movie and playing and eating snacks...

When we got home it was time to help Mama with cocoa bomb production!

We got to help fill the bombs with all the goodies! Snowmen and s'mores and cinnamon roll. It was so much fun making them look yummy!

We wanted to eat them dry just as they were they looked so good!

And they looked even more beautiful when they were complete!

And this S'mores marshmallow made a smiley face when it was burned! It was amazing...and it was MINE!

Mama let us all taste test a bomb. I chose cinnamon roll, Jax took the s'mores with a smiley face marshmallow and Kai tried the snowman!

And we video taped our bomb adventures. They were DELICIOUS!!!

This morning we started the first day of 2021 with an awesome New Year's cake that Mama's friend Angela made for us!

This is a traditional Greek cake that has a coin baked into it. You have to start from oldest to youngest slicing the cake and whoever gets the coin has good luck for the year. Kind of like our favorite King Cakes!

And wouldn't you know it, Jax got the coin! That lucky little dude. But I think we're all lucky. Happy New Year!

Later we enjoyed some charcuterie and snacks while waiting for the Hot One's Challenge to begin...

Our family came over and we got to play with little Caleb!

Then it was time for Daddy and Uncle Harvey to get to the Challenge!

Daddy had the sauces all ready to go and Uncle Harvey had his cauliflower wings ready and Daddy had the chicken wings ready.

And here we go! Can they take the heat?

Boy that one was pretty hot! Daddy and Harvey were choking a little...

But they're old pro's and none of the sauces really beat them!

But I tried one and it got me!

But we all made our own home made vanilla soft serve just to make sure we had all our bases covered!

It turned out pretty well. Looks like we're in the soft serve ice cream business!

Even Nana had some of our ice cream! It was delicious!

Then we did some playing and running around and entertaining our Caleb!

And then the adults got into the video games! It was a great way to spend New Year's Day!
