Last night we had such a fantastic dinner that we had to take a picture! Grilled steak, Brussels Sprouts, mac n cheese and tomato, avocado, mozzarella salad. YUM!
And today we decided to do our tie dyed shirts! I got to help Mama get all the dye ready for action!
We were prepped and ready to go!
And now to make the magic happen...
We all picked the colors we wanted. I chose Mardi Gras colors! And then we got to dyeing!
It was fun and super messy! Thank goodness for the gloves!
Mama wasn't so lucky since she had to help us all and she had to take her gloves off. We hope the dye comes off her hands one day!
While we waited for the dye to do it's magic we did some of our summer homework. I got to read my book with Daddy!
After dinner we got to go to our new Dunkin/Baskin Robins and get ice cream. Hooray!
It was delicious and a great summer treat for tonight!
When we got home it was time for the reveal!
The shirts weren't as saturated with color as we wanted them but they sure looked nice!
We all really liked our shirts but Mama said we can try again and this time we'll know that we really ned to soak our shirts with color to get them really colorful and less white spots! It was a fun activity for sure!
