Today was a beautiful but hot and humid morning. It felt great to eat our breakfast out on the back deck with the nice breeze blowing! MeMa even hooked us up with some tasty donuts for breakfast. We liked these better than Duck Donuts!





Then we got to see the trash truck come by. That is a pretty cool trash truck! It lifts the cans up and put them in the truck automatically. It's was pretty neat to watch! They even gave us a little toot of the horn to say hi!

                                     

And then we got ourselves together and headed out to the pool! We never made it to the beach today but sometimes you just need a pool day! And boy was it great! The air and the sunshine were hot and the water was refreshing and cool! It was amazing. We had lunch by the pool and MeMa and PopPop joined us. It was a perfect Summer Song day!



                                     

Then for dinner we had Cosmo's Pizza, salad and crabs from I Got Your Crabs! Everything was tasty and delicious and it was so much fun eating out on the screened in porch! We had a nice breeze and the company was even better!





Later my brothers and I did some night time hot tubbing while Mama took an outdoor shower. Then we relaxed and Daddy and I did some iPad before it was time to shut it down.





We got to snuggle up in Daddy and Mama's bed for a few minutes before it was finally time to settle down and get to bed. It was a great day in Duck!



Then Daddy spotted the moon. These pictures just don't do it justice but that moon and venus look amazing in the sky! So bright and big. We're glad that he and Mama took pictures to show us in the morning!

                                     



                                      

Today was a beautiful morning! Sunshine and warm air! We did some iPad and a little snack on the back deck. It was lovely! And there was NO MORE RAIN!!

                                    



Then we all headed to have our obligatory Duck Donuts. They were warm and tasty...





                                      

Then, since we didn't spend enough time or money in the book store, we headed over to the Island Book Store to get some new tattoos for Jax and maybe another book or two for us!! We just couldn't resist!

                                     



And then we rushed home to enjoy this glorious day on the beach!! It was sunny and hot and a perfect beach day!

                                    

                                    

Kai got all the way in the water today. PopPop helped us build some more sand castles and MeMa and PopPop even put their toes in the surf with us. Then we decided to head back to the house to dip in the pool and have some lunch! It was really hot out and that pool felt great!

                                    



Even MeMa and PopPop did a little relaxing. We were happy about that!

                                    

Then we of course did some more hot tub time before heading right back over to the pool!!

                                     



We decided to have a reading in the pool party with chairs!! That MeMa made a great suggestion!



                                     

Then we had a canon ball and pool jumping contest before getting our dry clothes on to head out for an early dinner!





We made it to I Got Your Crabs just in time! We got a great table that fit us all perfectly!



And boy was everything delicious. Especially Daddy's soft shell taco's!!



I think I'm in a food coma!

                                     



Then we got to see a beautiful sun set and then poof! The moon just popped out of nowhere. It was really nice!

                                     



                                     

Then we decided to do some night time swimming with the awesome pool lights on! They change so many colors; red and blue and yellow and green and white and pink and aqua! It was really fun to be able to swim at night! And boy what a perfect full moon we got to see! It was another great day and night in Duck!
