This morning we all slept in a little since we all had a big night last night. Then Mama made us all yummy french toast, fried eggs and bacon for breakfast! Then Nana and Papi came over a little later for a visit, a quick lunch and for Papi to say goodbye before he leaves on his trip to Ecuador bright and early tomorrow morning. He's going to help Great Grand Papi fix his house that was damaged in a fire and he's going to be gone for 10 days. We sure are going to miss him!







When Jax woke up from his nap we headed down to Union Market for a tasty adventure! We ran around outside. Then we checked out all of the yummy offerings. There were so many cool things to see from baked goods to fresh fish and seafood to butchers with meats and sausages.







We all ate some oysters (Finn is an oyster lover!!), we had some chicken spring rolls and fresh made fish and chips. Daddy got a tasty pimento grilled cheese sandwich and we got some little cream filled cakes from one of the bakery stands. Then Daddy got some brisket to bring home for tomorrow and I begged and begged until Mama bought me a pig's foot to bring home and cook. First Mama had to talk to an old woman behind the counter to find out how you go about cooking a trotter before she would agree to finally buy it for me. I can't wait to see how Mama does. I guess we're all just little foodies! It was a great day!
