This morning we lazed around the house and warmed up in front of the fireplace. It felt so good to cozy up and hang out together this Sunday morning!

                                      

My new bed frame came so Mama put it together. Then Daddy brought up my new mattress...which ended up being the wrong size. DOH! Guess I'll be spending a few nights on sleeping in the guest room until the new mattress comes!

                                       

And then it was time for me to head to my friend Eva's birthday party at the Laurel skating rink where Mama and Daddy used to skate when they were little! 

                                        

                                       

It was hilarious because none of us has every skated before!!

                                      

                                      

                                        

But we sure had fun learning how. Just a few extra bumps and bruises when we got home!

                                       

                                       

It's always fun to try something new and we had a blast in the end!

                                       

                                       

                                        

                                        

And while Jax was at his party, I got to help Mama make our cream of mushroom soup! I did the chopping...

                                        

And the mixing and the blending...

                                       

And Ta Da! Our dinner was complete. And boy was it delicious!
