This morning Mama went to the new butcher shop in Takoma Park called Soko Butchers. It looked amazing with all of the fresh meat and other goodies!

 

                               

   

                              

                            

Mama was even able to find some reasonably priced guanciale for us to try!

                             

And she brought home fresh made breakfast sandwiches! The biscuit was a little on the sweet side and it was a little on the flaky side but it was still delicious! That egg was perfection!

                              

Later I made sure to sample the red beans and rice that Mama made. It was so yummy!! I can't wait to eat more!

                            

Later it was so nice and mild out we decided to go play at the basketball courts at St. B's. Mama and Daddy went in to check on the snack shack and found a freshly dead little furry friend...ew!

                              

                             

We had so much fun playing basketball....

                              

Our friends Tobias and Samuel came to join us and do some running around. That was fun too!

   

   

   

Afterward we decided to head to Pike and Rose to get some ice cream sandwiches

                             

But Mama and Daddy decided we should share a bowl of ramen first! It was getting chilly out and this was the perfect choice!

   

   

                             

It was tasty and warmed our chilly bones!

                              

                              

                              

When we were done we ordered our ice cream and then went to run around the "yard" while we waited for them to make it!

   

                              

                              

Then we got to get in the car to warm up and eat our ice cream! It was an awesome Saturday adventure!

                             

                             

This afternoon we got to run to Mama's office with her to check on some work she was overseeing in her big boss's office... 

                             

It looks like it's all ready for the live presentation that he needs to do so our trip was a quick one. 

   

But before we left we got to explore and run around a little bit!

                              

We got to check out some of the conference rooms and meetings rooms. They were really cool!

                              

Then we checked out the view! It was so cool to see all the way to the Washington Monument!!

                               

Then we did some hiding and more running around. It's a good thing no one else was there!

                              

                             

   

                             

We saw some editing happening remotely. That was pretty neat!

   

                              

Then we got to see a pretty nice sun set! It was so fun to see where Mama works. We hope Finn will come with us next time!

   

   

   

                              

                             

This afternoon I got to go run some errands with Mama. Our first stop was H-Mart! It is always so cool to see all the fun fruits and vegetables and the amazing fish and seafood! 

                             

   

Then we headed to the dollar store to get balloons for our cousin Caleb's 3rd Birthday! And boy were we surprised to see that the ENTIRE store was full of blown up Valentine's Balloons! We've never seen anything like it! It was crazy! but kind of cool!

                            

Then we went to our cousin Caleb's house to drop off balloons and a little goodie bag and wish him a Happy 3rd Birthday!!

                             

We didn't want to go inside because new little baby is in there so we stayed at the door and Caleb was being very shy...but he finally warmed up a bit!

                               

                               

                            

When we got home we got to cut into the yellow dragon fruit that Mama and Kai picked up at H-Mart!

                              

   

It was beautiful! Next time we'll get a pink and a yellow one so we can cut them next to each other. This one was much sweeter than the pink one we've tried. It was yummy and fun to try!

                              

And then we were missing Mexico so we decided to make salmon poke tostadas. They were so yummy and fresh!

                              

We loved them. They were delicious!

                               

                              

                             

Today we FINALLY had our solar panels installed...by some interesting looking characters.... 

                              

                             

Ummm NO THANK YOU! I hope they're being safe up there!

                              

                             

And after school we got super lucky because Papi surprised us and picked us up from school!

                             

                             

Annnnd took us to 7 eleven!! Of course! We all got some fun treats to have later after dinner! It was a great day!
