This morning Mama went to the new butcher shop in Takoma Park called Soko Butchers. It looked amazing with all of the fresh meat and other goodies!

 

                               

   

                              

                            

Mama was even able to find some reasonably priced guanciale for us to try!

                             

And she brought home fresh made breakfast sandwiches! The biscuit was a little on the sweet side and it was a little on the flaky side but it was still delicious! That egg was perfection!

                              

Later I made sure to sample the red beans and rice that Mama made. It was so yummy!! I can't wait to eat more!

                            

Later it was so nice and mild out we decided to go play at the basketball courts at St. B's. Mama and Daddy went in to check on the snack shack and found a freshly dead little furry friend...ew!

                              

                             

We had so much fun playing basketball....

                              

Our friends Tobias and Samuel came to join us and do some running around. That was fun too!

   

   

   

Afterward we decided to head to Pike and Rose to get some ice cream sandwiches

                             

But Mama and Daddy decided we should share a bowl of ramen first! It was getting chilly out and this was the perfect choice!

   

   

                             

It was tasty and warmed our chilly bones!

                              

                              

                              

When we were done we ordered our ice cream and then went to run around the "yard" while we waited for them to make it!

   

                              

                              

Then we got to get in the car to warm up and eat our ice cream! It was an awesome Saturday adventure!
