This morning we got ourselves together, picked up Grandma at the park and ride and then headed over the Bay Bridge to visit Terrapin Beach Park. We had to follow a long trail to get to the beach. We searched and searched for some turtles but we didn't see any. We saw some butterflies and rabbits and even some fish in the lake/pond that we passed but no turtles. We got to play in the shallow water and look for cool rocks and sea glass. We had some snacks and even saw a big, dead fish wash ashore. We had tons of fun and we can't wait to come back again soon. Maybe next time we'll even bring Lucy with us!
After Terrapin Beach we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's house to play. We had lunch and played with toys. Then Granddaddy came home and we played some soccer and did some swinging outside. It was a fun afternoon!
In the evening Mama took us to down town Silver Spring to try out Cold Stone Creamery for dessert. Daddy met us there from work and we were so excited to see him. Then, we were so lucky because there was a band playing outside so when we were done with our ice cream we got to dance and run around. It was such a beautiful evening and it was so, so much fun!! It sure was a good day, boy were we exhausted, or maybe that was just Mama...
