Early this morning Daddy took the Trouve's to the airport to head to their ski trip in Park City. We slept in and then headed to the French Quarter to enjoy this beautiful, sunny day!

It was so nice to walk around Jackson Square and enjoy a beautiful, New Orleans day. We window shopped and people watched and Mama bought a replacement clay New Orleans house for the one we broke at home! And a new fleur de lis stained glass ornament to hang in our window for the one that the cleaning women broke at home...

There was a line down the street to get into Acme so off to Felix's we went! And boy did it hit the spot. Those char grilled oysters and the bread are DREAMY!

The raw oysters and soups and gumbo and the other goodies were all top notch! Our tummies were happy!

Then we decided to walk our snacks off by taking a few laps around the Quarter. Bourbon street never disappoints with the people watching and the crazy sights you see on any given day!

And it's not a trip to NoLa without a stop at the Lucky Dog cart!

We took a pass by Antoine's! They were having some kind of fancy event there today! So glad we got to experience it!

It was a little windy when we came around the corner! It was funny trying to take a picture!

When we got home we decided to walk around Magazine. Then we of course walked up an appetite...time for a little beignet flight and some truffle fries at Vintage!

I've never met a french fry I didn't love!

I am going to miss Kevin the most. He is one of the best dogs I've ever met and makes me want one just like him!

Later we decided to head to our friends house to check out the last parade of our trip!

There is Harry Connick Jr, king of the Orpheus Krewe! So cool to see him so close! And one of the best parades. Great bands and music!

And then Taylor Dayne - I mean, we don't know who that is but Mama and Daddy did!

So many cool floats and celebrities and just lots and lots of fun! It was a great last parade and last night in New Orleans!
