Today we packed up and Papi came over to drive us to the airport. We got there nice and early, got checked in and Daddy and Mama had a seat and a drink at the bar... 

                                       

And I ran back and forth from our gate to the bar while we waited...really just to convince Daddy and Mama to order me and my brothers burgers from the burger restaurant in the concourse...

                                        

Something yummy about a burger and fries while you wait for your plane to board!

   

And a glass of bubbly for Mama!

                                       

We boarded the plane and someone asked Mama to change seats with them so they could sit with their husband...she did and was rewarded with an empty row! Lucky Mama got to spread out and enjoy the journey!

                                        

We all had a great, easy, flight!

   

We got a pretty DC sunset and we even arrived in Baton Rouge way earlier than we were supposed to land! It was great and got our trip off to a great start!

                                        

                                        

They had this funky old cigarette machine (selling art cards) in the Baton Rouge airport. It was funny!

                                       

Our first stop was Walmart to get some snacks and treats for our stay at Liz and Tom's house. Look at the soda display set up like a fleur de lis! Only in Louisiana !!

                                       

Then we got to the house in record time. It was so fun to see Kevin again. He's not a puppy anymore but he still plays like one! We were happy to be reunited!
