This morning Mama came to my class to chaperone our field trip to Sharp's Farm! We were all really excited. Our group was Me, Jack, Lane and Madison! We couldn't wait to get on to the bus!
While Mama was off on a field trip, I got to take a field trip with Daddy to MeMa and PopPop's house. We had to water all the plants and flowers...and Jax's! We had so much fun getting wet and running around. And it was so hot outside that it felt great to be wet out in that hot sun!
When we got to the farm we got to take a hay ride to the river! We even rode into the river on the tractor. It was so cool! Then we all hopped out and into the water to search for critters! We found lots of goodies and caught tadpoles and minnows and bugs and crayfish. It was really cool and a little gross. Mama was wondering how she picked this field trip. But boy were we having fun. Lane and Madison were wet up to their chests!!
After a while some of the girls were over it so they went to hang out with Mrs. Zagone in the grass. We don't blame them!
We got to check out our findings. Larvae and skating spiders, yuck! Someone even found a tic which made Mama super freaked out!
Then we got back onto the hay ride and headed back to pet a baby chicken! He was super soft! And then we got to pet the bunny rabbit. It was the softest fluff ball I've ever felt. Mama, can we get a bunny?
Then we went to feed the goats! They don't bite, they just lick the corn from your hands and boy does it feel weird! But they were cute and we had a great time.
While Finn was feeding goats, Daddy was feeding me! Mod Pizza. Hooray! We had a blast hanging out and eating pizza!
We got to sit in the shade and eat our lunch. Boy was it hot outside! We got to see the duck leading her ducklings around the lake. And then we took a class picture. It was a great field trip and I'm so glad that Mama got to come!
After our pizza date it was early so Daddy said we could go to the park. I was so excited! We had fun in the heat!
After school Maira got to come home for a play date with Finn. They played some Legos and with some toys upstairs then we all got in the bounce house for a bit.
Then we had some delicious snacks! Then more bounce house and more running around outside. We were a hot sweaty mess after being outside at that farm all day!
Then Joseph came over and Maira went home. We did some playing then a little bit more bouncing before it was time to call it a night. It sure was a fun day!
