Today Daddy and Mama let us play hooky from school! It wasn't a beautiful weather day but it was a perfect day to have some fun! We went to Lariland Farm to run around and pick out our pumpkins.

                                     

                                     

Some of the activities were cancelled because of the mud but we still found some fun to get into! 







These were called snake gourds! They really looked like snakes. Mama was not a big fan of them but they're the only kind of snakes we're touching!

                                     

                                     

Then we headed into the barn to pick some apples since the pick your own orchard was closed due to rain and mud. That's okay, we still got to mix and match the apples that we would have picked from the trees. And we even got to test out some apples while we were there. We picked out some huge pumpkins and we can't wait to carve them!

                                     

Then we stopped at Ledo's for lunch. I LOVED it!! It was so yummy. I ate about a hundred pieces of pizza. Mama and Daddy were impressed! It was a great way to spend a day off with Daddy, Mama and my brothers!

                                      

                                       

                                     

Later we did some bounce housing while Mama went to have a room parent meeting with the 1st grade teachers. We had lots of fun running around the house!

                                     

                                     

Later MeMa and PopPop came by and we showed them the huge pumpkins that we picked out and our gingerbread haunted houses. They loved them. Then we had a yummy dinner before it was time to shower and head to bed. No more hookey tomorrow! It's back to the grind...
