We were really sad though because as soon as it started to really snow and seemed to be sticking to the street, Daddy had to go to work. We wanted him to have a snow day with us...
This is the shot Daddy sent us when he got to work. Roads in DC still looking pretty clear but that snow was coming down hard with no end in sight...
Within about an hour our street looked like this. We were getting excited watching it pile up!
And enjoying doing some serious snow day chilling! Well, after Mama made us bacon and eggs for breakfast!! We are spoiled little guys...
The snow just kept falling and falling...
And falling...
Happy Spring indeed!
After lunch we decided to get geared up and head out to play! We made our way to Michael J's house to do a little sledding and playing around...
Then we headed back to our house and Michael, Liam, Emmet and Max joined us. That's when we decided to have a snow ball and nerf gun battle! We made forts and barriers and took our positions!
Even the Coll's dog Molly came to play a bit!
And Mama and I made a little snow dude! Mama wanted to make him bigger. I was fine with just a little guy. I think he's pretty cute!
The Battle was on!
Then the bigger boys went home and Liam stayed to hang out. Then Joseph came over. We all needed to warm up and dry off a little. We did a little bit of electronics before Daddy sent all the hooligans home!
Then we were ready for round 2! Kai, Finn and I all headed back outside to enjoy a little bit more sledding and snow time before dinner...just in case it's all gone when we wake up tomorrow morning.
The aftermath of the nerf battle...
Mama and Daddy had a beautiful beet, goat cheese, grilled chicken salad with a balsamic glaze for dinner...We wouldn't eat it but it looked good!
