Later we had to go to Kai's first baseball game in Rockville. Jax took a little snooze on the way there. Then we had to watch the beginning of the game from the car while he slept. It's a good thing we were parked right behind the St. B's bench!
And I got to sit back, relax and eat snacks while we watched the game...
In my first at bat I kept a good eye on the ball. I didn't swing at anything that didn't look good. And when a good ball came, I swung and got a base hit!!
I made it to first and then I stole second!!!
And eventually I STOLE THIRD!! Mama was so excited and couldn't believe it!
Then Kai came in and scored a run for his team!! We were all SO EXCITED!! Go Kai Go!
In my next at bat I got another base hit but I got tagged out at first. Mama said I sure am doing well! She and Daddy are so proud of me.
Then, we couldn't believe it but St. B's WON THE GAME! We were certain that team with the super aggressive coaches would kick our butts but we won 10 -7. It was so much fun. I can't wait until my next game on Saturday!! I hope I do well again on Saturday!
Then we headed to the Pub to have dinner. These late weeknight games are tough on the dinner schedule. But we made the best of it and it was fun to celebrate Kai's first win!
