This morning while Mama and Daddy and my brothers were at mass I was waking up from my awesome sleep over with my friend Albert. We had some breakfast and then we took his dog for a walk down to the bridge over the creek. It was super fun!
After mass we got to go to the bakery for donuts!! We ran into lots of our friends from church, like my buddy Ollie! Then we went to Starbucks and I got a vanilla milk. It tasted just like cake and I loved it!
I was not too happy when my family came to get me from Albert's house. I wanted to stay and play longer. But then I remembered all the fun stuff we had planned today and I was ready to go! I had a really fun time hanging with my buddy!
When we got home, Mama and Daddy did lots more work in our yard. Mama fixed the stone wall around our beds and took the leaves out. Then we left Daddy to mulch the garden while Mama took us to Potbelly for Kai and Finn, and Five Guys for me so I could get one of their epic BLT's!!! Boy was it good. And I ate the entire thing!
Then we came home to see how beautiful our spring yard is looking! Mama needs a few more additions and she thinks she'll finally be done but we think it looks amazing. Mama and Daddy make a good gardening team! Thanks to MeMa and PopPop for taking us to get all those beautiful flowers!
Then it was time for the Woodmoor Garden Walk. Our first stop was Mister Larry and Mister Nick's house. Wow, they have such an amazing yard. They live on the same side of the street as us and their back yard is like a secret oasis. They have fountains and sitting areas and plants and statues and angels wings!! We can't wait to visit their yard more when our buddies Aidan, Rowan and Van move in next to them!
Our next stop is a garden that we come to every year. They have the coolest, biggest pond/fountains and the coolest, biggest koi fish! And we got to feed them. It was so cool.
Then we stopped at a cool yard around the corner. They also have a super cool pond with a bridge and lots of baby fish and big fish. Who knew all these amazing gardens are right here in our neighborhood. They are hidden gems. Maybe one day when we get bigger we can help Daddy and Mama make our back yard look this beautiful. Then we could participate in the Garden Walk!
We hit a few more gardens. Like this pretty one draped in blues! It was one of Mama's fave's and we got some good ideas for our gnome garden!
I definitely found my moment of zen amidst all of the chaos of the garden walk...
When we left Daddy and Mama decided to go get a nice, calming car wash before we headed home to have dinner and clean the house up...It was a great idea because we all took a nice, relaxing snooze. We must have really needed it! It's been a great weekend!
