After playing with our baskets for a little bit and checking out our goodies and maybe having a piece of candy or two, we got dressed and headed on to Easter Sunday Mass. Mama said we looked so handsome. And we were very well behaved in church!
When mass was over I ran into my friend Will and his little brother Tim. And we got to participate in the Easter Egg hunt! And boy did I clean up...again! It was so much fun!
Then we ran into some of our other friends. Liam and Emmet, Aidan, Rowan and Van, Michael Greenleaf, Bernadette and her family, and lots and lots of others! Easter mass is a big day at St. Bernadette.
Then it was time to head to MeMa and PopPop's house for Easter dinner with our family. Mama made Asian spiced wings for an appetizer. And MeMa had the cutest carrot shaped cheese "ball".
We had so much fun playing on the island in front of MeMa and PopPop's house where Daddy used to play when he was little!
Then our Virginia cousins got there and we all played together. First we all decorated our Easter egg bags! Everyone did such a creative, great job!
Then we had some chicken wings and other snacks. YUM!
I helped out in the kitchen a little...
Then it was time for ANOTHER egg hunt! Mama is all egg hunted out. She's not happy that we're so good at it. Now we have even more candy and money for our piggy banks!
Then it was time for dinner and boy was it delicious! We had ham and lamb and potatoes and asparagus and carrots and onion tart and deviled eggs and salad and celery soup and so much good stuff! That MeMa sure is an amazing cook!! And dessert was almost as good as dinner!
Then we went outside and did some more playing with our cousins. It was such a great day and a wonderful Easter. We're so lucky to have such great Family! Happy Easter!
