Today we already had off school, which we were really happy about. But we're kind of not sure what to do with ourselves...We started off by having a yummy breakfast!
Then Mama took us to the library, which was empty for the moment. But we're glad we went when we did because they will also close on Monday for the next two weeks (at least).
We all picked out lots of books and dvd's. Mama was not that happy to see us all playing with the corona Legos but it was too late at that point. Hope they're disinfected!
It was such a beautiful day outside that we headed down to the DC Wharf and met up with our friends, the Collins Family!
It was so much fun to run around and play and swing and enjoy some of this amazing weather!
It was so nice to be by the boats and see the monument in the background. It was such an amazing day to be outside at the wharf!
Then we headed down to the fish market. We LOVE going down there and looking at all the goodness and buying stuff to take home. First we did a lap to see what we wanted...
Crawfish for me, hands down!
We decided on crawfish and crabs and oysters and shrimp. YUM YUM! We can't wait for our feast!
But until then we made a quick stop at District Donut for a treat. Those were some messy and delicious donuts!
Then it was one more visit to the swings and the big docks to run around!
We made a quick pit stop at the cutest little store that had the weirdest little hands and claws for your fingers. Then a stop at Politics and Prose before heading home. We were getting hungry!
Mama learned how to shuck oysters and boy were they delicious!
And our seafood feast was ON. Boy was everything tasty. We can't get enough of a meal that looks like this!
It was a great day and an even better night!
