Today was a good day...the best day we've had in 4 years! Today was INAUGURATION DAY!

                              

And thankfully Daddy was able to be there, be safe and send us lots of pictures from right up front!

                             

                               

It was a cold day but it was a sunny, beautiful day!

                              

Then, the best parts of the day...the arrival of President Elect Biden and Vice President Elect Harris!

Mama put a pause on school so we could watch history! If it were a normal year perhaps we would have been there in person. This was second best we guess.

Then the swearing in of our new Vice President and President. It was great!

                               

And then it was time to celebrate!!! Mama cracked open a Guinness to toast our new Irish Catholic President!

                              

And us boys made patriotic cupcakes to celebrate this amazing day!

                              

                               

                               

                              

What a relief! What a great weight off the shoulders of the country and us! 

And the cupcakes smelled amazing!

Then our buddies Emmett, Liam and Mrs. Coll came over to help us celebrate and toast the new administration! It was a great way to spend the afternoon of a wonderful day!
