Well, last night we packed up and all headed to the beach. We got a good night's sleep and woke up to a rainy, cool day. Daddy and Mama got up to help out with the condo work day while we got to sleep in and relax...

 

                              

                             

Then Mama went to check out what the dunes and beach looked like after the big storms last week that caused lots of sand to be blown all over...

                              

                               

                              

                              

                              

   

Mama sure wasn't feeling good after spending most of the morning in the rain working outside. Her sore throat was getting worse. She came in to shower and get warm and take a covid test and guess what? Mama is victim number 2! Looks like the 5th grade field trip last week is turning out to be a super spreader event...the number of people that went on that trip testing positive is growing daily!

                             

Later we went out to check out the beach ourselves with Daddy! It was cool to run around on the tall sand!

                              

                              

It sure was foggy out there! But it wasn't too bad. We had fun running around out there and the rain finally stopped and the sun was even trying to peak out!

                              

   

...and Mama spent the rest of the weekend right here. Watching tv, sleeping, being delirious, having a horrible sore throat...repeat...We hope she feels better soon. And we hope the rest of us continue to feel good and test negative!
