This morning we got to school early so we could get ready to go on our field trip to Mount Vernon!
We were SO excited to ride a school bus and we were so happy when the bus arrived to pick us up!
My partner was Jacob! Mama was our chaperone and we knew we were in for a fun day!
We had a fun ride there and then it was time to hit the sites! We were so excited!
We started at the visitor center and museum then it was off to the mansion!
We hugged a giant tree!
Then we started our tour. Even though it was a little cloudy it was still beautiful on the grounds of George Washington's home!
Even if he did have some creepy art work of babies that have adult faces...Mama said she was going to put this picture in my room. I hope she was joking!
Then we took a big group picture of both 3rd grade classes! That was fun!
We even got to pet a friendly goat!
We ate our yummy lunch and then we got to hit the gift shop! There was lots of fun stuff to buy in there!
Then we took some silly pictures before heading back out to look at more of the sites!
It was a great day, we had so much fun walking around the grounds!
And seeing real blacksmiths work on making nails!
And we had another fun bus ride home! But boy were we exhausted. We did a lot of walking and running around today!
Then Mama took a picture of her and I on the way to my guitar lesson because we forgot to take one on the field trip!
And I got to enjoy the new toys that Jax brought home from his field trip! Lucky me and Kai!
