Today was still a little chilly and windy so Mama, Kai and I decided to go on a boat charter fishing out of Bahia Marina.
It definitely felt a lot better in the sunshine, the shade was kind of chilly and there was a bit of wind but we kept our hopes up and fished our best...
We took some snack breaks and tried to stay positive but the only thing we were doing was feeding the crabs and fish our bait...
We did get to see some fun places out on the bay.
And it was fun going under the 50 draw bridge!
We passed by Toast, the place we went to a super fun happy hour. It was fun seeing lots of things from this side of the bay!
And while Kai, Finn and Mama were out fishing, me and Daddy had a fun afternoon of mini golfing and then we went to Fishtales to wait for them to come back from their trip!
Daddy and Jax were waiting for us when we arrived back on our boat. Sadly, we came back empty handed. Not one fish caught by our team. Oh well, at least we had fun and most of our friends are currently in school while we're on a boat fishing. And we'd rather be out on a boat catching no fish than sitting in school!
It was a beautiful afternoon and once we were off the water that sunshine sure made it warm and toasty!
Later we decided to head out for an amazing sunset and a wonderful dinner at Captain Mac's Fish House!!!
All of the food we got was so delicious and fresh! We can't believe we haven't been here before now! This might be our new favorite place. And we will FOR SURE be back next season! We're just sad we waited so long to come and they'll be closing soon for the season...
When we got home we ran out to the beach and again saw the amazing sight of the moon rising over the ocean. It never fails to surprise and awe us!
It looks like the sun rising! It was absolutely insane, even though we've seen this before it's still always so surprising!
we couldn't stop taking pictures! It's just so cool to see!
It was a beautiful night that looked like it was becoming day! Even from our front porch it still looked amazing!
