This morning we met Grandma at Walmart to return some of the gifts that we got for Christmas that were broken or that we already had. We had fun eating apples in the cart and picking out some new things! Then we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's house to play until it was time to go pick Kai up from school.







               







Later we went to meet Grandma and Granddaddy at Azteca for dinner to celebrate Daddy's Birthday! It was delicious and so much fun! We love that place. It was a great start to our weekend!!







                

                



                

                





                 

Today was the first day back to school for me since before Christmas! Mama said that if they cancelled school today that she was dropping me off anyway...hmmm...I must have been ready to go back because I didn't shed one tear. I was so happy to go in to class and play with all of the cool toys we have and all my friends! I played with Gaby and Casey and Corinna. I played with the pirate ships and play dough. We went to chapel today and read a book about snow. We also made a beautiful picture of a tree with glittery snow on it. It was a great day!

               

                 



While Finn was at school Mama and I ran around and ran errands on this cold, frigid day. It was only 10 degrees outside. Luckily it was nice and toasty in the car. We dropped off some soup at Auntie Nay Nay's house and a calendar at Irene's house. Then we went to Rite Aid and I ate a snack while Mama got some pull ups for us. Then we came home and I had the play room to myself. Finn must have been worn out from going to school today because he took a nice, long nap this afternoon. Then my brothers and I helped Mama make cupcakes for our Daddy's Birthday dinner!! We put sprinkles on them and then we had a yummy steak dinner. I grabbed Daddy's steak right off his plate. It was delicious! Then we got to sing to Daddy and eat the cupcakes. It was a good day!

                

Today Kai went into school 2 hours late. So, after Mama dropped him off, Finn, Mama and I headed to Columbia mall. Mama had to get the security tag taken off of her coat that MeMa and PopPop bought her for Christmas then we ran around the mall for a little while. Then Mama let us run around the toy store for a while. That was THE BEST! We got to look at toys and books. We got to play with trains and trucks. We had such a fun time. Mama even let us get a couple of new books. After dinner Kai shared his Crown cookie that he decorated at school today with me. It was sugary and sweet. He sure is a nice big brother!

Today we woke up to SNOW! It was our first real, official SNOW DAY! There was no school for me or for Finn. And Mama didn't make Jax do his geometry today either. We had breakfast and hung out and then Mama held us off as long as possible but we finally got outside around 9:45! It took a long time for all of us to get all of our gear on but we did and we were warm and dry and ready for the snow! Jax was not thrilled with boots, the hat or the gloves. We knew this was going to be an interesting trip out in the snow. Mama put Jax on the sled and pulled him to our friend's house while Finn and I trekked. Our friends had already gone inside but we still played. We did a few trips down their hill but it was hard to get up and down with the sleds and Jax was cranky. So, Mama put all three of us on a sled, tied the second one to the back and pulled us all back to our yard. Finn and I made snow angels and tried to make snow balls (not the right kind of snow), we cleaned off Daddy's car and then I went across the street and sledded down Mr. Ron's hill. Mama said I was doing really well. Jax just sat with Mama and stayed warm and dry. Then we decided to head inside and take all of our gear off...





                

                

                

                

                

                

                

                



We came inside from playing in the snow. We had snacks, we played with sand, we played with Legos, Kai played his Skylanders game, we played board games, we had some hot chocolate with marshmallows. We had lots of fun. We had some lunch, Jax took a nap and then we snuggled up and watched a show. It was a really great Snow Day! Even Lucy had a pretty good snow day!

Today it was back to school and back to the grind. Much to Mama's surprise I woke up this morning with no problem, we got ready and were even early to school! And it was a tag day so I didn't have to wear my uniform today. I had a lot of fun catching up with all of my friends that I missed over break. We talked about what Santa brought us for Christmas and all the fun stuff we did while we weren't at school!

                 

While Kai was at school Mama, Finn and I took a trip to IKEA. We were so helpful and such good boys. Mama isn't sure if she should attribute it to the Snackeez keeping us busy with snacks in our mouths, if we're just really good boys, or a little bit of both! We got to ride on the flat bed cart. It was fun! Finn was the driver of the ship. He did really good steering! When we got home I helped Mama put what is to be our new bench seating for around our breakfast table together. We did a really nice job!

               

                



                

                

Later we decided to eat dinner on our new/old table so we could test out the cool new seating. Mama is going to make a cushion for the seat but we like it just the way it is! We had so much fun on the new seats. And Jax, like Daddy, really enjoyed his pork chop...bone and all!
