Today we woke up to SNOW! It was our first real, official SNOW DAY! There was no school for me or for Finn. And Mama didn't make Jax do his geometry today either. We had breakfast and hung out and then Mama held us off as long as possible but we finally got outside around 9:45! It took a long time for all of us to get all of our gear on but we did and we were warm and dry and ready for the snow! Jax was not thrilled with boots, the hat or the gloves. We knew this was going to be an interesting trip out in the snow. Mama put Jax on the sled and pulled him to our friend's house while Finn and I trekked. Our friends had already gone inside but we still played. We did a few trips down their hill but it was hard to get up and down with the sleds and Jax was cranky. So, Mama put all three of us on a sled, tied the second one to the back and pulled us all back to our yard. Finn and I made snow angels and tried to make snow balls (not the right kind of snow), we cleaned off Daddy's car and then I went across the street and sledded down Mr. Ron's hill. Mama said I was doing really well. Jax just sat with Mama and stayed warm and dry. We came inside from playing in the snow. We had snacks, we played with sand, we played with Legos, Kai played his Skylanders game, we played board games, we had some hot chocolate with marshmallows. We had lots of fun. We had some lunch, Jax took a nap and then we snuggled up and watched a show. It was a really great Snow Day! Even Lucy had a pretty good snow day!
