Then it was my turn! I had my very first soccer practice ever at Takoma Middle school today. We are the Green Dragons! And I was happy because my friend Tobias is on my team and his dad, Coach Matt, is our coach! It was really hot out this morning but Nana and Papi and Charlie and Tio Efrain and Primo Venicio all came to check me out!
I wanted to go play with my brothers when I saw them running around but then I finally got into it and I did great! I'm great at passing and running and dribbling. I think I'm going to do great for my first season of soccer!
When soccer was over we had to say goodbye to Primo. He's going home to Ecuador on Monday and we might not see him for a while. It was nice to visit with him!
Later we went to MeMa and PopPop's house to check out their new kitchen and have some dinner. I got to help MeMa with the corn and the broccoli and the cheese sauce.
Then we got to have a yummy meal! We always love some Popeyes chicken and Mema's sides to go along with it!!
Then it was my turn!! Mama and I had to leave MeMa and PopPop's house to head to my soccer game back up at St. B's at 7pm!! We got to play under the lights. We need a little work but hopefully we'll get a win next time. We did have fun and had a good game despite the loss. And Miss Alyssa let Michael and I turn the lights off on the field tonight when the game was over. It was super cool! And boy was it an exhausting day!
