This morning we got a surprise doughnut delivery from Blondie's Donuts and we were hoping they'd be good but we had NO IDEA how good they were actually going to be!
No only were they beautiful to look at, they were so tasty and delicious! I don't think we've ever had a donut this good. Nutella and snickerdoodle, and lemon drop and apple pie and the Baltimore version of a Boston Cream...
Best day EVERRRR!
As soon as school was over it was time to get to gingerbread decorating! Mama got all of our supplies ready and we were set to go!
We each had a house and two gingerbread men to decorate.
Then Mama decided she wanted to decorate one too so she made herself a house out of graham crackers!
We turned on the Christmas tunes and got to work on our masterpieces! We had so much fun. The only thing missing was our cousins and our annual gingerbread house decorating tradition. Stupid Covid...can't wait until next year!

Mama put lots of icing on hers to hide that it was graham crackers...
Jax got ahold of Mama's candy eyeballs and added them to EVERYTHING! It was a little creepy! There's something disturbing about a house that's looking at you...
Finn made a candy pallooza and even added some of our leftover Halloween candy to his house!
I stuck around until I was certain that I had perfected my masterpiece!
And boy did it turn out spectacular! Everyone loved Kai's house. It looks GREAT!
I had to add a random peanut butter cup because you know...2020! Why not?
They all look great up on the sideboard. Everyone did a fantastic job!
Later Mama went to our friends the Bamford's for a little mom's holiday fire pit. The Bamfords usually have a big Christmas party every year but since there's a pandemic and it can't happen this year they did a small little get together with just the moms. We hope covid goes away soon!
