Today we got to join our friends the Filburn's at their marina and boat to celebrate the end of the school year! It was a nice, warm day and we were ready to party!
The first stop was a dip in the pool! That cloud cover was sneaky because we could still feel the heat from the sun even though it was cloudy!
A little froze for the moms!
Some snacks and lunch for us and then it was time to go for a boat ride!
First we stopped to get gas! We've never been to a boat gas station before. It was so cool!
Then we were off to our favorite little cove where the water is always nice and warm!
And the sun came out to greet us! And boy was it toasty when the sun came out!!!
We got to hang on the rafts and play and splash around and play with cicadas that fell into the bay...
It was such an awesome day!!! Nothing but sunshine and FUN!
Everyone was a little sleepy on our ride back to the marina!
We rallied with one last jump in the pool before we had some dinner! It was a beautiful night!
Then we did some night light fishing!! We saw some big daddies swim by but we think they're too smart for our shenanigans.
We were able to catch some minnows and I even held them in my hand! They were so little and wiggly!
It was a perfect first night of summer vacation! Bring on Summer!
