Today to celebrate that we're off school for Indigenous People's Day we continued our tradition of apple and pumpkin picking at Larriland Farms!
It took a while and we had to really get into those trees but we found some great apples!
And our cousins and Aunties and Nana all joined us for the fall fun!
It was a grey day but it wasn't too chilly. We had lots of fun apple hunting!
There were some great apples right down at the kid level. It was perfect for all of us to pick!
We even got to taste test some of the apples we picked! They were crispy and delicious!
Then it was off to the barn to pick some pumpkins and gourds. And we also got to see my buddy Michael and his brothers who were there with their Grandma!
So much fun stuff! And so many HUGE pumpkins! We can't wait to carve them soon!
And we even found some super tiny pumpkins to take home too!
Then we got to run around the hay maze! That was a blast!
Then we had to get our photo op out of the way! Look at all those boys!
We even caught a silly goat on top of the building before we headed home!!
Later I got to make an apple fritter cake! I got to do almost every step all by myself!
While Finn made his cake, Mama made some acorn squash soup. Everything was smelling so good!
And boy did it taste good! YUM!
