This morning started with some rain and a yummy Cuban Coffee Queen breakfast. So, so yummy!! 

                                  

Then the clouds parted and the sunshine came splashing back out in time for our boat excursion! We could not wait for this adventure!

                                       

On today's agenda, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, sandbar hanging, lunch and drinks!

But first up, DOLPHIN!! We were so happy to see our beautiful friends!

                                       

And the fun thing is that our friends, the Gillon's, were on this adventure with us!

                       

                                        

                                       

Our first stop was to go kayaking through the mangroves. It was so fun and a little scary making sure we got through the tunnels of trees and not tipping over and falling in the water. We were so busy paddling that we forgot to take pictures in the mangrove forest!

                                        

                                       

                                        

Then it was time for lunch! There was a great spread and we all needed a little bit of sustenance for all this fun and activity!

                                       

                                      

                                       

                                       

                                       

After lunch it was time to hit the water on the sandbar for some serious FUN! First up was paddle boarding! I was an instant expert and it was so much fun!

                                        

And some snorkeling was a must! And boy was it a great excursion!

                                       

                                      

                                       

I was so lucky to find some amazing things! Sand dollars and shells and coral. So, So cool!

                                       

                                       

                                      

                                       

It was truly such a spectacular day. We were having the time of our lives!

                                        

And it was so fun to share the day with good friends!

        

                                       

                                       

                                      

                                      

                                       

We even did some exploring and adventuring around the sand bar. We went just to the edge where the water gets deep. It was so neat!

       

Then it was sadly time to get back on the boat. Boy did we have a great time today!

                                      

                                      

                                        

                                       

                                       

                                      

And we were all a little exhausted! 

                                       

But we had fun contemplating the excellent day we had as we headed back to the docks!

                

                                      

                                       

And when we got back we decided to put some of our OCMD stickers on the sticker wall as we walked over to Simonton beach for a little dip before heading home!

                                       

                                       

                                       

                                       

Then it was time to head home. What a day. But first...french fries!!
