This morning we woke up bright and early and hit the road to the beach! Ahhh summer is finally here!

We got into town, put our things in the house and then headed out to Harpoon Hannah's for happy hour since it was such a beautiful afternoon out!

It was sunny and warm. We got a bunch of yummy appetizers and some drinks and soaked up the beautiful afternoon.

And I got this funny piece of celery that looked like one of those inflatable guys that dance outside mattress shops!

                                      

                                       

Then we saw this group of girls swimming in the canal!! NO WAY! It was warm out but that water must be so cold!

                                      

                                       

                                       

                                       

When we got home Mama grabbed her book and headed straight out to the beach to read and chill...Then we joined her and we're so glad we did!

                                       

                                     

It was so beautiful out so we played some baseball and some kickball. IT was lots of fun!

                                       

                                      

                                       

And after all the beach fun we headed to the grocery store to stock up for the long weekend and to get stuff for our cook out at the Schultz's house tomorrow! Life is good...

                                       

                                       

Then it was game time before we went to bed! A little UNO was just what the doctor ordered. It was so much fun and a great first night at the beach!
