This morning was Kai's 14th Birthday!! So we woke up and he got to open his presents!
He got a really cool Lego set and some cool clothes!
Then it was time to head to 8th grade Graduation from St. Bernadette School!
My MeMa and PopPop, Nana and Papi all came to watch my graduation! It was a nice mass...until Monsignor decided to give another homily that seemingly had no point and definitely nothing to do with the 8th grade graduates...but that's what we've been getting for 9 years so...
My buddy Calvin was the Valedictorian and he gave a really nice speech!

And the really cool thing was that Mr. Brendan Shea from DeMatha came to congratulate the graduates and welcome us to the Brotherhood that we'll be joining next year. We have an impressive 10 boys going to DeMathat from St. B's next year!

Then it was off to Lone Oak to celebrate Nana's retirement from over 30 years at AON!
There was lots of friends and family there! It was a super hot day out but we were having fun hanging in the shade and running around with our cousins!
When the party was over we headed to Nana and Papi's house to hop in the pool to cool off! It was the prefect ending to a great day!
