Today Mama dropped Finn and I off on the last day of school, but first we got to give our teachers their end of year gifts. Gift card bouquets because EVERYONE wants that kind of bouquet!!

Mr. Brown loved his gift and pretended to cut my hair. He's wanted to do that all year long!

I am truly going to miss Mr. Brown. He was the best teacher I've ever had!

And Mrs. Thomas loved the gift from her 6th graders too! Now, on to summer!

Mama was there to catch us all walking out of school for the last time. We were like a bunch of caged animals turned loose!

Let's get this summer started!

I got to go home with my buddy Tate. We had lunch and then we went to Climb Zone to get some energy out and have some fun. It was awesome!

Later Daddy, Mama and Finn drove me, Conall, Samuel, Dexter and Colin to the Barking Dog in Bethesda for the end of year 8th grade multi school dance/party.

Daddy and Mama laughed because this is a bar that they used to hang out at when they were younger to go drinking with friends...good thing this was just a dance for us with chaperones!

While all the others were out, I got to hang at Tobias's house. We had a super fun dinner!

And we had an amazing dinner at a place called Hockers in Bethesda. It was cool because I was allowed to sit at the bar with Daddy and Mama and we got to order some super yummy food.

And even the news had some good headlines...

We had soup dumplings and bao buns and the most delicious lamb skewers we've ever tasted!

And on the walk back to the barking dog to get Kai we stopped in a little market that had the "not fried chicken ice cream". It really looked like fried chicken but it was indeed ice cream and it was delicious!

And then Daddy and Mama and Finn came and spied on us at the dance. It was loud and really hot in there so they didn't stay.

It was a fun night and a good way to celebrate the end of the year and our promotion to high school!
