Today we got a super, duper surprise! MeMaw and PopPop came over to visit us for lunch!! We had chicken and sandwiches and crunchy potato chips. They even brought me some donuts. MeMaw and PopPop are THE BEST!







I got to play with my Grandparents and Mommy and Daddy. I sure do love it when Daddy doesn't have to work! We ate lunch and played with our toys. When we woke up from our naps we were surprised to see Daddy on TV with our Papi and Uncle Freddy!! Hey, how'd he do that? 

Today was another steamy, hot day! In the morning Mommy got us together and we headed out to run some errands. We got to go to my favorite store, Costco! And I got to have an enormous piece of pizza for lunch!! It was so yummy, even Finn wanted to have some. It's a good thing Mommy shared with him! I don't think he's going to want to eat baby food much longer. Pretty soon he'll be eating steak and potatoes!


                 

Today was a busy, hot, fun day!! In the morning our friends Miss Liz, Tom and Charlie came to our house. We all got in our cars and headed to the Air And Space Museum out by Dulles Airport. It was so cool to see all of those airplanes, helicopters, missiles, rockets and especially the Space Shuttle!! It was HUGE and so neat to look at. Charlie and I had a blast running around that super big place! Then we got to eat lunch at McDonald's inside the museum. That was fun!










After we took a little rest we headed to Fajita Coast to meet our family for dinner. We were saying farewell to Great Grand Papi. He's heading back to Ecuador tomorrow and we sure are going to miss him. I hope we can go visit him in Cotacachi one day. I hear it's beautiful there. We got to see Nana and Papi and our cousins and we even ate a yummy dinner. Papi took all the big kids to the ice cream shop and Kai even let me have some of his ice cream cone. He sure is a nice big brother! When we left I was so tired from all this activity and I think the fact that it's over 100 degrees outside doesn't help either! It was a fun night but I was so tired that I fell asleep in the car before we even left the parking garage. Being a party animal is hard work!

Today is America's Birthday and we celebrated all day long! In the morning Mommy, Daddy, our friends Miss Megan and Patrick, Aiden and Rowan, Miss Lara, Pearl and Pearls Grandparents, Kai and I all walked to the park in our neighborhood for some 4th of July festivities! There were fire trucks and a clown, a face painter, lollipops and popsicles, there was even an area where my brother got to decorate his own sun visor! We saw lots of our friends from the neighborhood and we had a fun time!





Then we got to go to Nana and Papi's house for brunch. We got to play with our cousins and run around like crazy fools. It was already getting hot, hot, hot outside so we got to play inside too. Then it was time to head home for naps!





After nap time Mommy and Daddy got us ready and we headed to Washington, DC to see out MeMaw and PopPop and all our cousins and other family. It was so, so hot but that didn't make it any less fun! We got to play in the coolers and eat cookies. We had a parade with PopPop and Aunt Wendy. And the best part of all, when it got dark outside we got to watch the fireworks!!! I was so excited I ran around like a crazy fool. I even jumped on Aunt Wendy and knocked her down...she only has granddaughters so she didn't even see it coming. Maybe one day she'll have a grandson and then she'll be better prepared. Finn was asleep and I was worried that he'd miss all the action but he woke up just in time for the show to start. Then, we got to see fireworks the whole way home. People sure do like to set those things off, and I love to watch them! It was a great night!!

 

Today was a hot and steamy day. In the morning Daddy took Kai and I with him to have our car washed and cleaned. It was fun to watch the guys working on our car. I hope Kai and I can keep it clean! Then we came home and Daddy and I hung out while Mommy and Kai went out.

                 

Today Mommy and Grandma took me to see the Madagascar 3 movie. It was so much fun. I got to eat some snack and see the fun movie. I laughed and had so much fun! It sure was a good way to spend a really hot day! Later Mommy and Daddy let me have a nice, cool popsicle. Mmmm, my favorite! After Finn was asleep I got to go outside and help Mommy and Daddy clean up our front yard from the big storm we had on Friday. There were leaves and twigs everywhere but I was really good about picking them up and putting them in my wheelbarrow. I even helped Daddy fill up a yard trim bag. I sure am a good helper!!

                  

                  

I decided to give everyone a break last night, including myself, and I slept all through the night. I think we were all happier for it in the morning. It was a little cloudy first thing in the morning so we hung around the house while Mommy and Daddy cleaned up and started packing our things to head home. Grandma and Granddaddy left last night and Kai and I were sad not to see them when we got up today. 

                     

                     

 After a little while the sun came out, nice and shiny, so we could head to the beach!! I was so happy about that. Mommy and Daddy got us all ready and we made our way to the shore! Brian and Miss Laura came to join us on the beach and even Miss Mary Jane came down for a little while! Daddy played in the sand with me and then Mommy, Daddy, Finn and I did a lot of playing. The water was nice and warm and Finn and I were loving splashing around in it. It was another great day at the beach. When we were done there we headed home and took a dip in the pool. Then it was time to have dinner,  take baths and get our pj's on so we could make the long drive home. Finny and I were so exhausted from all that time outside today so we fell asleep in the car and we didn't even wake up when Mommy
and Daddy put us in our beds!!

                             



                  

I decided that I wasn't happy sleeping in a strange place last night so I just decided that I wasn't really going to sleep at all. That made Mommy, Daddy and I kind of cranky. Everyone decided it was time to get up and ready for the beach in the morning but I decided that I wanted to get some sleep so while my brother and the rest of the family headed for the beach I slept almost the whole day away in the house. Mommy was nice enough to hang out at the house with me while I slept. She said she got to read almost all of her book!

                          

Even though my little brother kept waking me up all night and morning I was still super excited because it was beautiful outside and I was heading to the beach again!! Daddy and I played and played.  I had so much fun with my Daddy. Then Mommy's cousin Brian and Miss Laura came to the beach. Then Andrea and Aunt Lisa came to the beach. Then Miss Leanne and Michael came with Phinius and Thalia!!! It was like a family party on the beach. I liked to do everything Thalia did. We dug holes together and made castles. Her brother Finn was doing lots of boogie boarding so I didn't play with him much. My cousin Andrea played with me and so did Brian and Laura. I was having such a fun day and being such a good boy that Daddy said I didn't have to go home to take a nap. Instead I just rested on my beach chair for a little while. Then, finally Mommy and Finn came to the beach to hang out with us for a little while. Finn was happy because he likes the beach, just like me.

                                

              



           

                            

    

After hanging out at the beach for a little while, we decided to head back to the house and jump in the pool. Then Mommy and Daddy put us in some dry clothes and we headed to the boardwalk to have some fun. I got to ride all the rides. Finn fell asleep. Then I got to eat pepperoni pizza again for dinner. And Finn got to taste Mommy and Daddy's chocolate banana milkshake. He really liked it!! Another perfect day at the beach!
