This morning we woke up to the same great view, just a little cloudy. And then the rain came.

Good thing we brought our umbrellas! It wasn't as cold as it was yesterday so we threw on our sweat shirts, grabbed our umbrellas and walked a block and a half to Sarge's Delicatessen for breakfast! It was perfect! We had pancakes and sausage and bacon and smoked salmon and eggs and hash browns. It was all delicious. And then Mama let us take a piece of carrot cake and a piece of chocolate cake home with us! We can't wait to eat it at home!

Then, sadly, it was time to check out of our hotel, get our car and head to our next destination...The Intrepid Sea and Air museum! It is a World War II Air Craft Carrier that has been made into a museum. They had jets and fighter jets and helicopters and our favorite, the Space Shuttle!! We were able to go to the flight deck and the control deck and flight tower. We got to see where big decisions were made and where the Captain and Co-Captain slept. It was really amazing and so cool! Even in the rain!

This is the lego set that I wanted to take home. Mama said no, but she did let us each bring a mini space shuttle toy home with us. I was SO happy!!!

Then it was time to get in the car and head home. Mama and Daddy started the ride with a nice cup of coffee for Daddy and a latte for Mama. Then we were off! Bye, Bye New York City!

We stopped at a rest stop on the way home and were surprised to see this super cute life sized gingerbread house!! We wanted to eat it. It looked delicious!

When we got home Mama's flowers had taken off and were fully bloomed. It was a nice surprise and a great welcome home! It was a long ride but we made it home safe and sound. We took showers, got snuggled up, Mama went to pick up Lucy from Nana and Papi's house and then were thankful to sleep in our own cozy beds tonight. It sure was an amazing trip but we're also glad to be back in our awesome home!
