I got to be home with Mama and Kai today. It was bitterly cold and windy out. I got to play with play doh and Kai built with blocks. We had a little iPad time and Mama kept checking that Kai felt okay. Mama has a feeling that Kai got one over on her but she says that everyone is allowed a personal day every now and then...
Later Mama had to get some errands run. We bundled up and hit the Dollar store in the White Oak shopping center. Mama said it was a dollar store but not really a dollar store. I don't think we found anything in there that actually cost a dollar. And they didn't really have anything we were looking for...so we headed to Giant.
And at least there we got a free chocolate chip cookie from the bakery!
All the shopping and cold air must have really gotten to me because I crashed out hard and I didn't wake up until Mama made me get up so we could get to our last swim lesson!!
We were really happy to get in the pool for our last swim of the winter/spring. It was so cold outside but it was toasty warm in the pool! Daddy was even able to join us for our last class. We had so much fun and were loving being in the water.
Finn and Jax did a great job in class. They had so much fun learning the basics and getting more confident in the water! Daddy and I worked on my strokes and had lots of fun in the water. I'm going to be more than ready for the swim team this summer!
We had a blast in our last class. We're going to miss swimming every week! Once the indoor pool at the YMCA is done being renovated Mama said we may consider coming back to swim more often!
When class was over we all hopped in with Daddy. It was so fun to practice and swim around with Daddy and Kai!
Jax and I also got a report card from our swim instructor! He said we were really good students. We hope he'll be our teacher again soon!
Later we did some playing, we had dinner and we played. Then it was time to shower up, hunker down and get ready for bed. It was a great day!
