Later it was time for first reconciliation. Mama and I headed to St. B's to meet up with the other students that would have confession that day. Mama said I looked very handsome. Father Gallaugher spoke to us and then it was time to line up. Some kids went to Father Markey and some went to Fr. Gallaugher.
Then it was my turn. I wasn't nervous at all.
Then I came out and did my penance.
Then I fell asleep at home...
After confession we took a picture. Then Mrs. Smith gave us all a tour of the sacristy. We got to look in the vault and see all the precious relics and items that we have in our church. We got to see the chalices that the blood of christ are held in for mass and the special plate that communion is given on. We also got to see what the bread looks like before it's blessed and becomes the body of christ.
After reconciliation we all got to go to Kai's friend Ella's house for a little celebration with our friends. She has a HUGE house and yard and we were so lucky because it was an amazing, warm day! We all got to play on their trampoline and on the basketball court and then we had dinner. I sat with my buddy Maira!
Then we roasted marshmallows on the fire pit and ran around some more. It was so much fun exploring their huge yard and it was a great Saturday night.
