Then Uncle Mark, Mac and Audrey came to see us. We had a lunch a pallooza, Audrey outlasted all of us at the table! We ran around, we played with toys, we had lots of fun!
Then we headed outside to run around with our friends. We played war and football. We had tons of fun!
Then it was time for the St. B's Chili cookoff and Kids Baking Contest. We entered Mama's white chicken chili but there were 10 entrants and they varied greatly. All of the different chili options were really delicious. Some were smokey, some were spicy, some were turkey and some were steak. It was a great event. And the Corner Pub sponsored it! There was even corner pub pizza and drinks for the kids that didn't want chili!
All of the kids desserts looked great too! There were pies and macarons and key lime pie bites and scones. We had fun running around with our friends, playing ball, taste testing all the chili and drawing pictures. We had such a fun night.
We didn't win but Mama's chili was the favorite with all the kids. They all came back for seconds and thirds!! And we had so much fun we didn't even notice that we didn't win.
Then it was time to shower and read books before heading to bed. It was a great day!
