This morning we went to pick up our cousins Lorenzo, Natalya and Chloe and headed to Calverton Pool! It was rest period when we got there but as soon as they blew the whistle we were all in! Then the lifeguards heard thunder...and so did we! So it was out of the water we went. We all headed for the snack shack. We had some snacks. Then it started pouring. So, we had our lunch. And hung out and hung out some more. We waited out all the thunder and then we could finally get back in the water at 2 o'clock...

                                   

                                    

                                   

                                   

                                   

It was clear and sunny and at 2 o'clock we got to get back in the water. At approximately 2:07 it started to pour down rain. Harder than ever! So, we all had to run for shelter. And by then, Mama had it. She said it was time to pack it up. No more trying to wait out the storm that just won't go away!

                                  

                                  

                                   

We got home, got a few minutes of down time, then it was time for lacrosse camp! Mama got us all together and we headed to the field. We got our gear on and we were ready to do it!

                                  

                                  



We started with drills and running and getting ourselves loosened up. It was fun!













                                   

It sure was hot out! We had to take lots of water breaks and we needed to get some shade here and there. But it sure was fun. We really enjoyed our first day!

                                   

                                   

Then we had a little scrimmage with other kids our age and skill level. That was fun too! We're looking forward to tomorrow. We might just need to eat dinner before camp from now on...





                                   

                                   

                                  

Oh and I had fun too! Especially because I got to see lots of friends and Miss Awissa, who was coaching the girls camp, and I got to play with my brothers water bottles and now I can't wait until I can play lacrosse!!
