Today was another beautiful beach day! We packed up and headed to the beach and went straight for the water! Thankfully there were more clouds today and that helped the sand not be blazing hot! And the water was just perfect. Not too rough and great for me and even my brothers to be able to enjoy jumping the waves without getting hurt or sucked out to sea.
Kai met a new friend today and we all played with him and his sister and some other kids. It was so much fun! I was really loving playing in the water today. Then Daddy made a pool for Jax and I in the sand. We caught sand crabs and sat in our pool while the water poured in!
Aunt Mindy and Maia hung back at the blanket with Grandma while Uncle Jason and Ethan joined us in the water. Baby Ethan was really loving splashing around in the ocean with his Daddy!
I had fun chasing the seagulls. Then Jax had a nice nap on the beach!
Then we saw something we've never seen before...a trash truck on the beach...during the day while there were tons of people on the beach. That was kind of weird and a little cool.
It was my choice for dinner tonight and I chose Bull on the Beach! It wasn't a good choice...It was a GREAT choice! We had some cheese fries and I ordered a delicious brisket sandwich on an onion roll and it was kind of amazing!
I got a crab cake on top of bacon on top of roast beef. It was delicious. We were all happy with Finn's dinner choice tonight!
My brothers and I also had a lot of fun playing and checking out Coastal Highway from our table on the patio.
After dinner we headed over to the Art Gallery to set up a spot to watch the fireworks. We were the first ones there but not for very long. Lots and lots of people showed up. We even got to play on the play ground and play with sparklers! Well, Jax was the only one brave enough to play with it. He's our dare devil brother!
When the fireworks started we all soon found out that we couldn't see them over the one big tree in the way!!! So we all scattered. Mama put us in the car and drove to the lot behind the mall and there we could see the North Side Park fireworks, the beach fireworks and even some from the other side of us. It all worked out!! And we got to see lots of fireworks!
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
