This morning was a scorcher! So Mama took us and Grandma to the Silver Spring library to return our books and get some new ones! Grandma hasn't seen the new Silver Spring library and she really liked it! We picked lots of books to bring home and we had fun doing a little playing!
Then Grandma took us to McDonald's for lunch! It was tasty and fun!
Then it was time for lacrosse and boy was it hot outside!
Mama brought us some ice pops and I shared with our friend Danny.
We did a great job running around out there even in this heat. Mama made sure to get us lots of water and definitely poured lots down our backs and necks. We needed it!
I even played with Charlie, Finn's friend Ollie's little brother. Until he called me a butt head and was mean to me, then I decided I wasn't playing with him anymore. We don't hang out with mean kids around here!
Even Mama made a new friend! Coach Dave's doggie loved Mama and wouldn't leave her side. It might be because she kept giving him rubs and water and pouring water on his head to keep him cool. That doggie sure loved Mama! And Mama didn't seem to mind hanging out with him either!
I also got to visit with Miss Awissa and she let me take a shot with one of the girls sticks. I did a great job!
Then it was our favorite part, the scrimmage! We had a blast playing in a real game. This might be our sport. I guess we'll see how serious we are when it comes to practices and games in the real season!
And I even won a prize for one of our special games that we played! I got a Gatorade pack with gatorade drink powder. I was pretty proud of myself and Mama and Daddy were pretty excited for me too!
We had a lot of fun today despite all the sweating we did. And boy were we sweaty, especially when we took those helmets off!
When we got home we were STARVING! All that running around and sweating sure brings out your appetite! Good thing Mama had dinner ready before we left. It was a sweaty, hot and great day!
Then I decided to take a bubble bath while Kai and Finn took a shower. Every now and then you just need a good old fashioned bubble bath!
