Then Daddy had to run back to work and we had to run to the museum! It was a beautiful day and we loved checking out the sights on the way.
Then all the fun stuff inside! We sure are lucky to live where the museums that are gorgeous and full of amazing things, are free!!
The refurbished dinosaur exhibit hall was AMAZING! There were so many cool things to check out and touch and see...
About halfway through Mama took us outside to have a hotdog from a street vendor. Then it was back inside for round 2!
We could even see Daddy's work from the second floor of the museum! Hi Daddy!
We were amazed by the geodes and crystals and gems and rock formations. This was by far my favorite part of the day. Maybe I'll add geologist to the list of occupations I'd like to explore...
Some of the crystals looked unbelievable. They were all so colorful and beautiful!
And the Hope Diamond was a real sight!
And we were so lucky to run into our friend Conall on our way out! They were just getting there as we were getting ready to leave. That was a fun surprise!
On our way home we decided to stop and see if Papi was home! And he was, so we all went to dinner with Nana and Dennis at the Tastee Diner~
Even Daddy came and met us from work! That made it even better!!
It was a great day! This is what summer vacation is all about!
