And Mama cut some of her beautiful hydrangea from the yard. They look great!
Then we all did some more playing outside today. We did some drawing and running around and playing with toys.
Then I got to pick something out for Mama and I to bake. I chose an vanilla strawberry cake. And Mama let me do lots of it all by myself. The first step was to muddle some strawberries to add to the cake batter!!
We had to combine the vanilla and strawberry cake batters together so we could swirl them in the pans. It looked really cool. And the batter was quite tasty!
We all thought the cakes came out beautifully! And once they cooled Mama made a yummy whipped cream frosting to ice the cake!
For dinner we had fajitas made with left over steak and chicken. Another leftover stretch that turned out phenomenal! Everything was so tasty!
And then we got to have our cake for dessert and boy was it good! Fresh and strawberry and just what we wants. It was a great day!
We all gave the cake THUMBS UP!
