This morning we went on a little adventure and drove to Shady Grove to hit the Krispy Kreme drive through. Then we got to sit outside of the closed Mama Lucia across the street and enjoy our fresh, hot donuts!! YUM they were amazing. Hot Krispy Kremes are life changing!
Then we checked out all the donuts that we got for friends and MeMa and PopPop. They sure will like they're special delivery!
And we were right! They were happy to get their yummy donuts! We're so happy we took some to share. And it was nice to see their beautiful yard all cleaned up and ready for summer!
When we got home we noticed that our hydrangea bush has one pink flower on it! I guess that one just wants to stand out. And we're okay with that because it's so pretty!
Later we had a surprise visit from Auntie Nay Nay and Caleb! They brought us some tea from Auntie Nay Nay's friends who have a new tea company. And it was fun to see them. We think Caleb liked putting his little piggies in our pool!
For lunch Mama made us grilled cheese sandwiches out of the bread that Mrs. Filburn made for us. This may have been the best grilled cheese we've ever had. We think it was the fresh, home made bread!!
Later we asked Daddy and Mama if we could walk to the end of our street....BUSTED! Daddy found us at the circle by the tree when we went to pick up the power washer from Uncle Harvey!
Later we walked over to our neighbors house around the corner. They have been performing and singing beautiful songs for social justice. It was a nice afternoon and we were happy to support them. They are a great little family band! And a bunch of other neighbors came out to enjoy their music too!
For dinner we decided to support one of our old favorite local spots, Olazzo in Silver Spring. I have been craving their ravioli because it is the best around. So we had an amazing Italian meal and we were so happy!
And after dinner we went on a nice family walk to digest that heavy Italian meal. And spotted a couple hundred bun buns on our way!
And later we got to have a sleep over in Daddy and Mama's room! We love family sleepovers!
