Then it was off to swim team practice. I, of course, complained as usual. Mama told me to hush up because it would be fun. Of course my brothers were having fun in the baby pool playing with their toys and new friends...
I practiced free style, back stroke, and even butterfly!! Mama was very proud of me. I was really proud of myself too. And my coach was really great. And My teammates were cheering me on. I also met a new friend today named Jackson. He was really nice. He lives in Takoma Park and we want to have a play date. I'm looking forward to swimming with him at our meet on Wednesday!
After swim practice we all got dried off and dressed in our dry clothes and we headed to Grandma and Granddaddy's house. We had our lunch and then we played inside and outside and we painted and we watched shows and we fought and made up and had a great day!
Then I made a quiche for Granddaddy. I think he really likes my quiche that I make him! And I love making them!
Then we actually got to hang out with Granddaddy!! We never get to see him when we visit so we were super excited to see him. We relaxed then headed outside to play some more before it was time to pack up and head home.
When we got home I made an amazing block tower and Mama and Daddy said it looked beautiful so we took a picture!
Then we headed outside to play with our friend Joseph. It was a lovely evening and we had a blast running around, chasing our puppy friend Hunter, kicking the ball, playing with cars...it was a great summer night, the weather was great and it was awesome to be able to play outside until almost 9pm!
