Now this morning was more like it...Kai and I slept until 9:30 this morning. That's what summer vacation's all about, right? Mama had a bunch of errands she needed to run but she also had a bunch of stuff to do around the house so she let us have an old school, stay at home and chill, summer vacation day! We played with our toys and electronics. We had breakfast and lunch and we even tried to play outside but boy was it hot out today!



Then Daddy came home early from work so we all got suited up and got all of our things together to head to the pool! It was a scorcher out there and we were all ready to head to the pool to cool off!

                                   

                                  

Then our cousins Griggs, Bray and Ana Sloan joined us along with Uncle BJ and Aunt Cindy. We all swam our hearts out and played and splashed and had so much fun! Then our friends Liam and Emmet and their Mom, Mrs. Coll, all came to the pool too! It was like a real party!







Then MeMa and PopPop joined us for a festive dinner at the pool! We had chicken and rice and beans and salad. It was a great time. After we ate we all ran around and played on the play ground and the volley ball courts.

Then we did one more run in the pool. We had so much fun swimming in the dusk! It's so cool to swim while the pool lights are on. We had a blast. I hope we can have our cousins down again soon to hang at the pool with us!
