We got to check out some real live snakes and turtles and frogs. It was pretty awesome!
Then we went outside to check out the birds. There was a bald eagle, an owl, a hawk and a vulture! They were HUGE and pretty amazing!
Then we did some playing in the outdoor area. There was a tee pee and a big nest and so much fun stuff!
Then we got to see the big birds be fed!! It was pretty crazy! They ate mice and boy did they make quick work of their meal...
After our cool nature center play date Mama and I headed to Giant to get lunch meat for the boys lunches...only one more week of school! I got to help Mama shop and then I got to help her scan our groceries.
Then we stopped at Trader Joe's to get Daddy's coffee...and I got to sample a ravioli that was quite tasty!
After school we hung out on the field for a bit. Mama and I read our books while the others ran around and played. It was a nice little relaxing time.
When we got home we played outside and then we got to play with our neighbor's new doggie, Trixie and give her treats! It's fun to play outside until late and it's not even dark yet. We can't wait for summer to officially be here. One more week of school...it can't be over soon enough!
