Today is the saddest but best day of the year. It's the Family Fun Day at Calverton Pool. Also known as the last pool day of the Summer or Labor Day! And boy was it a good day!








They had water slides and an obstacle course and a bouncy house. They had popcorn and cotton candy and it was just a great day for it all. It was hot and sunny and the pool water was perfect!

                                     

                                     

                                      

                                     

As a matter of fact, I don't think we've ever seen Calverton pool this crowded! Not even on other Family Fun Days! Everyone was really happy about spending their last day of summer at the pool. 













                                    

We ate lunch and had snacks. We ran around and played. Even the Coll's came to join us at the pool. The dj played lots of great music and kept all the kids entertained with games and fun competitions! I even won a prize for completing part of the scavenger hunt the quickest!







                                     





A full day in the hot sun, splashing in the pool, proved to be a little exhausting for some of us!

                                     



                                     

When we got home I got to help Daddy and Mama make dinner. I helped chop the salad ingredients and then I got to help make the mac n cheese...Mmmm my favorite!

                                      

                                     

                                     

Then I got to wear the shirt that the Coll's got me when they were in Jacksonville, Florida!! It's my town!
